They work on different initiatives and live thousands of kilometers away from each other, but they maintain a great common goal: improving the economic opportunities of the people in their cities. He Local Innovators Program 2022<\/a> is the great fan that brings them together and, on this occasion, Iv\u00e1n, Irma, Gustavo, Estefan\u00eda <\/strong>and Karina <\/strong>They share their challenges and reflections on the experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Bogot\u00e1 (Colombia), Cota (Colombia), Torre\u00f3n (Mexico) and Jun\u00edn (Argentina), the teams presented their initiatives at the Inspiration Tables<\/em>, a key stage of the program, to a group of specialists in innovation and systemic thinking. And although they maintain different objectives according to their particular realities, municipal leaders and social entrepreneurs from each community agreed in valuing the learning obtained so far with AYNI.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The importance of labor inclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The projects in the Buenos Aires city of Jun\u00edn and the Colombian capital maintain a coincidence: both work to generate greater job opportunities for historically excluded populations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of Bogot\u00e1, Ivan Felipe Moreno<\/strong>, from the National Planning Department; Marcela Guzman Castro<\/strong>, from the social entrepreneurship Le\u00f3n Veracruz Consultores; and Juan Diego Moreno<\/strong>, from the M\u00e1s Colombia Leaders Organization, came together to generate strategies that can improve the quality of life and the work reality of the recycling population in the metropolis.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thousands of kilometers to the south, in Jun\u00edn (Argentina) they seek to generate greater inclusion of people with disabilities in productive and labor spheres. \u201cFrom a very young age I participated and participate in organizations (of this type) because I understand that the only way for our rights to be recognized is to fight for them,\u201d he says. Karina S\u00e1nchez, <\/strong>in charge of the Directorate of People with Disabilities in this city inhabited by nearly 100,000 people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding that \u201cwork gives dignity,\u201d the municipal leader works on the opportunities project together with Claudio Garcia<\/strong>, from the Families United Association for Social Inclusion (FUPIS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
